I begin by reviewing your concept, references, placement, and overall direction before preparing the design. The session is planned around the scale and complexity of the piece, giving the tattoo enough space to develop with clear structure and depth.
Throughout the day, I work deliberately through the composition, building shadows, highlights, and transitions in a way that supports the subject and the body. Breaks are included as needed, and I keep the process clear so you understand how the piece is progressing from the first lines to the final details.

I am Ju, a Birmingham tattoo artist focused exclusively on black and grey realism. I create custom pieces ranging from small designs to large-scale projects, including portraits to detailed sleeve work. ### How should I care for a new tattoo?

Following the artist's aftercare guidance is important because healing needs can vary by tattoo and individual skin. Keeping the area clean, avoiding unnecessary irritation, and allowing the skin to heal naturally are generally important parts of responsible care.

### If I need to reschedule,  how much notice should I give my artist?

At least 48 hrs. In advance. The first reschedule is no charge, the second will require a new deposit.
